German Horseriding Overnight Camp in Brannenburg
Happiness on earth in on the back of a horse
For our Horseriding Overnight Camp we have chosen the Ponyreithof St. Margarethen in Brannenburg. The yard is a paradise for children! The backdrop of the Alps begins at the end of the road and it is peaceful and safe for children.
Besides riding and working with horses, the huge area offers many opportunities for children. There is a petting zoo where sheep, rabbits and pot-bellied pigs frolic. There is also a huge garden kids can romp and swing and play table tennis and lots more. The children stay in tents. The yard is the starting point for all of our activities: The active all-about-horses program includes riding, vaulting, first ride as well as theory and games for riders.
During the day, the children receive targeted German language instruction connected directly to their riding activities from our native speaking teachers. For the language instruction, the children are divided into groups by age.

Sattle – Snaffle– Ride
Speaking German integrated with an activity and learning both of them having a great time. Cleaning, saddling, snaffling, vaulting, theory and riding games on one side, and on the other side is learning it all in German along with lots more that can be used every day. The riding instructors of Ponyhof St. Margarethen and the German teachers of sphairos team up to offer the children and youths a week packed full of new experiences, adventures and knowledge about horses.The camp takes place from Sunday until Saturday – 6 days. Parents bring the children directly to the location and pick them up themselves. We “live” with the kids in the tents in the campsite – that alone is an adventure in itself.
The children don’t necessarily need any experience riding for the Horseriding Camp. We lead them carefully to the horse, show them how to properly handle the animal and they will get their first experience on horseback. Children who already have experience will receive instruction tailored to their level of experience. The riding instructors decide then and there which children and how they will bring them into contact with the animals.

Location
The Horseriding Camp takes place at the Ponyreithof St. Margarethen in Brannenburg (near Rosenheim). The house is picturesquely situated at the foot of the Alps and is set up for traffic so that the children can move freely on the large grounds. Besides the horses, there are lots of other animal that will capture the children’s attention.Dates & Prices

4 through 9 July, € 425.00 for 11 to 14 year olds.
Arrival on Sunday about 4 pm. Departure on Saturday between 2 and 4 pm.
Drop off and pick up is done directly by the parents.
