Age group divisions for children and youth can be a continuous problem. Children are so unique and different in their development, and we see each child as an individual. It’s very important for us that the children feel good with us. Therefore we try to make the best possible division of the age groups that takes the current stage of each child’s development into account. When exactly does a child stop being a child and become an adolescent?
Our age groups are divided up in the following way:
4 – 6 years old
7 – 9 years old
10 – 14 years old
If you as a parent know that your child has a unique development in one or the other direction, we are always open to your thoughts.
Some of our offerings are designed for 8 to 13 year olds. Why is this? Because these offerings deal with overnight camps, we believe that children of 8 years old, at the earliest, are ready to spend a week at an overnight camp. If they are already 14 though, they are at the appropriate age for adolescents to have their first experiences abroad in the context of a language holiday.
